CoSocial is a non-profit Community Service Cooperative providing open social media for Canada. CoSocial’s purpose is to provide social media and online collaboration services to empower our members and the communities they are a part of. Everyone who uses our services is a member of the cooperative and shareholder with a say in how we are run. Our flagship service is a Mastodon server which is the entryway to the broader Fediverse.
Registration is open to individuals who are residents of Canada or Canadian citizens and organizations that are primarily based or incorporated in Canada. Membership fees begin at $50 annually and $10 of your initial fees go toward a one-time member share purchase (redeemable if you leave the coop).
